Job Title: Automotive Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Specialist to join our team at SEWS-E. As a key member of our Distribution Centre, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Business Teams in generating warehouse cost simulations for new business and implementing awarded contracts.
  • Design and conduct regular audits to identify process improvements, reducing costs, risks, and promoting good morale.
  • Collaborate with the Central IT Department to suggest improvements to the Company's WMS software and operational capability.
  • Provide immediate support in investigating serious concerns involving employee safety, customer complaints, and operational failures under the direction of the Central Distribution Manager.
  • Support the Company Health and Safety Manager in investigating safety incidents at Distribution Centres.
  • Investigate and implement LCR corrective actions, reporting results to the Central Distribution Manager.
  • Liaise with Business Teams and manufacturing sites to improve packaging design, fill density, and overall cost, reporting results to the Central Distribution Manager.
  • Conduct studies to justify the implementation of returnable and disposable packaging, reporting results to the Central Distribution Manager.
  • Provide data to monitor the environmental impact of different packaging types within the business, including weekly reporting of company-wide packaging movements.
Requirements:
  • Good analytical and data processing skills.
  • Computer literacy in MS tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team in a pressurised environment.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Permitted and willing to travel internationally on a regular basis.
