About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to lead our design team in delivering technical solutions for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the design process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Management: Oversee the design process, ensuring compliance with customer and statutory standards, regulations, and specifications.
- Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of engineers to deliver project solutions to the required level of design.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the design team, ensuring that designs are robust, reliable, and meet project requirements.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all engineering outputs meet quality standards and are compliant with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of design and management experience in a similar role.
- Education: Degree/HNC qualified in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Professional Membership: Member of a recognized engineering institution, Incorporated Engineer, or Chartered Engineer.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Self-Driven: Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook.
