We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Bakery Operations to lead our bakery production activities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing materials, production, quality, and technical aspects of our bakery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all bakery production activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement performance-driven culture with an emphasis on ownership, accountability, transparency, and development of the bakery and its people.
  • Engage and motivate team members to create and sustain a proactive culture across the bakery, focusing on quality, service, and cost.
  • Implement KPIs and performance management processes to ensure targets and commitments are met on-time and in full.
  • Develop and manage the bakery management team, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading bakery production teams and driving site performance.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills, with the ability to develop and motivate team members.
  • Demonstrable experience of improving site performance and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • IOSH Managing Safely/NEBOSH General Certificate desirable.
