About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Mildmay House, a 47-bed supported accommodation service for single homeless males and females. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to our clients, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred assessments to identify and prioritise client needs
  • Provide support to clients to manage personal care needs, including personal hygiene
  • Develop services to reduce drug and alcohol admissions to emergency services
  • Proactively address deterioration in physical and emotional well-being, isolation, and exclusion
  • Maintain a consistently high standard of accommodation and grounds through communication and practical means
About the Service

Mildmay House is a warm and respectful environment where clients can feel at home. Our staff aim to support and encourage clients throughout their stay, helping them to move towards independent living. We seek to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to grow and develop their skills and strengths.

About You

We are looking for a Support Worker who shares our values and behaviours, including a passion for helping people to thrive. You will need to have experience of supporting vulnerable people or groups, and be a confident and capable communicator. You will also need to be able to build trusting relationships and have a high level of resilience.
