Canonical is seeking a talented Systems Integrations Software Engineer to join our Commercial Systems unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and operating software solutions that drive business success.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled software developer with a passion for Linux and a strong background in Python and Go. Your expertise will be instrumental in integrating business systems, automating processes, and ensuring data flows reliably across the organization.

As a Systems Integrations Software Engineer, you will work closely with our engineering and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our business, and you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, including Airbyte and Temporal.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions using Go, Python, and open-source tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate business systems and automate processes
  • Ensure data reliability and integrity across the organization
  • Continuously improve engineering and operations practices
Requirements
  • Experience as a software developer in Python and Go
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to collaborate remotely with a diverse team and stakeholders
  • Ability to travel internationally for work
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
