Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Supply Chain Officer to join our dynamic team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will be responsible for managing the procurement, storage, and distribution of medical and non-medical consumables across all our sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement process, including ordering, receiving, and checking of goods
  • Coordinate the storage and distribution of supplies, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations
Requirements
  • Minimum GCSE pass or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Computer literate with experience in using Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement is desirable
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
