Quality Engineer CMM Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer CMM to join our team at ACS Business Performance Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and execution of measurement systems and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Measurement System Management: Develop and maintain detailed records of Inspection Plans, ISIRS, and FAIRS.
  2. Process Improvement: Develop measurement policies to reduce scrap in the machine shop.
  3. Design Review Participation: Participate in product design reviews to promote repeatability and reliability for production.
  4. Capability Studies: Conduct capability studies / gage R&R as directed.
  5. Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits as required to AS9100 standard.
  6. Additional Duties: Carry out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.
Requirements:
  1. Metrology Knowledge: Working knowledge of metrology with a background in Quality Engineering.
  2. Engineering Drawing Skills: Ability to understand and read engineering drawings.
  3. Quality Systems Expertise: Excellent knowledge of Quality Systems.
  4. Quality Record Maintenance: Ability to maintain detailed quality records.
  5. Metrology Tools: Applied working knowledge and use of basic metrology tools, both Imperial and Metric.
