This leadership position offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of 4 bid managers and coordinators, providing work winning support for bids ranging from £100k-£20m. You'll work closely with Environment Business leaders to prioritize and win business-critical bids, making a significant impact on achieving our strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Environment Work Winning Team, developing and coaching bid managers and coordinators.
  • Work with Environment Leadership to establish and maintain a list of 'business-critical' bids and liaise with other Work Winning Leads to ensure these are supported with appropriate work winning support.
  • Act as bid manager for our most strategic pursuits, ensuring the Environment Business has the tools, collateral, and training required to complete successful tenders without work winning support.
  • Help embed bidding best practice throughout the Environment Business, through training and guidance, and work collaboratively across work winning teams to establish and continually improve our approach to bidding.

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in working with UK&I pursuit and bid teams to facilitate the creation of win strategies and positioning activities on major opportunities. A good knowledge of the Environment sector is preferable, and a strong track record in implementing work winning methods and winning in a multi-geography, multi-market, multi-discipline enterprise is essential.
