Job Description

Job Title: Senior Event Production Manager - Immersive Experience Specialist

Job Summary:

Medea Creative Productions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Event Production Manager to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering ambitious projects to great success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with producers, production and creative teams to conceive and develop an original and ambitious location based experience.
  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive and robust delivery plan for the creative vision, inline with the cause-first ethos for the production, with efficiency and in-budget.
  • Ensure that the technical aspects of the production are completed safely, on time and within budget.
  • Oversee and plan, delivery and striking of all technical and production elements, including set design, site infrastructure, scenic, interactive elements, and other production departments.
  • Line management and care for all on-site production and technical staff.
  • Ensure all core onsite production and technical staff have correct training (health and safety and job specific) for their roles.
  • Conduct audits to ensure adequate and up-to-date RAMs and licenses are in place for all activities and contractors.
  • Provide a practical, hands-on, solution-based approach to day to day technical operations and logistics management.
  • Support the Head of Production to deliver comprehensive budget reports to the Producers, maintaining financial transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure all onsite production elements adhere to the project's robust Health & Safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong Production Management background (5+ years), including technical scoping, site management, H&S, Licencing and event build.
  • Proven experience with technical aspects of theatre production, including sets, wardrobe, LX, sound, props, bespoke interactives and special effects.
  • Experience managing Production Teams (especially on-site), including contractors, scenic artists, technicians, stage crew and other production staff.
  • Solid project management, budgeting and scheduling skills.
  • Integral understanding of technical production and design, including audio/sound, lighting, bespoke technology, special effects and interactive mechanics.
  • Ideal holding NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications.
  • A bias for and experience in sustainable production practices.
