Job Description

Job Title: Food and Beverage Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at the National Trust. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to your team, ensuring they consistently deliver excellent service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they are delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive and can-do attitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Supervise the induction and training of new colleagues, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure food is prepared to a high standard and presented in an appealing way.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of health and safety compliance.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner, ensuring minimal disruption to the business.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and development, with a desire to improve skills and knowledge.
