Overview:
BH Live is seeking a dedicated part-time Duty Manager for our Charter Community Sports Centre. This facility, situated in a vibrant university area, offers a range of amenities including swimming pools, a gym, and various sports facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
You will assist the Customer Operations Manager in ensuring exceptional service and safety for all visitors. Your role will encompass daily management of the centre during your shifts, requiring prior experience in supervising or managing teams, preferably in a leisure or recreational setting.

Shifts:
Work hours will be scheduled according to the centre's operational hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Primary Duties:
  • Oversee public activities within the Centre, ensuring safety and adherence to established guidelines.
  • Maintain high standards and ensure that our Lifeguards/Recreation Assistants follow BH Live policies and procedures.
  • Familiarize yourself with the centre's standard operating procedures and emergency protocols.
  • Exercise decision-making authority as required.
  • Provide first aid when necessary.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Experience in face-to-face customer interactions.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Flexibility to work hours that align with the centre's operational schedule.
  • Experience in the sports or recreation industry.
  • A first aid at work qualification and NPLQ certificate (training may be provided upon appointment).
