Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Scientist to join our team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Histology Department, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality technical service to cancer patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Work in all areas of the Histology Laboratory, including provision of technical services and participation in Biomedical Scientist cut-up.
- Rotate through specialist areas, such as Immunocytochemistry and Molecular Pathology.
- Ensure the Department meets cancer targets and work collaboratively with the team to achieve this goal.
- Participate in the training and teaching of trainee Biomedical Scientists, Medical Laboratory Assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
