Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a School Crossing Patrol Officer at Leyland Methodist School. As a School Crossing Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe passage of students across the zebra crossing on Turpin Green/Canberra Road.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the zebra crossing and ensure students are safely crossing the road
- Provide a visible presence to deter drivers from speeding or failing to stop at the crossing
- Work closely with the school and local community to promote road safety awareness
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.00
- Part-time hours of 7.50 hours per week
- Term-time only position
