About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead our Substance Use Team in Forensic Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment and treatment of individuals with substance use issues.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to staff, including management of caseloads and development of training packages.
  • Consult and liaise with mental health and substance misuse services to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment services.
  • Collaborate with Care Coordinators and multidisciplinary team staff to provide substance use assessment and treatment.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions, including the C-BIT approach.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to Trainee Assistant Practitioners.

Person Specification
