Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
  • Ability to evaluate medical competencies for team leaders and support staff
  • Qualification at Level 3 with a commitment to pursue Level 4/5
  • Current role as a deputy/unit manager or a motivated senior care assistant seeking progression
  • Willingness to mentor and guide staff to uphold high standards
  • Flexibility to participate in the on-call rota and adapt to the needs of the organization

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all team members contribute effectively to the smooth operation of the facility, fostering an environment conducive to optimal care
  • Lead in the absence of the Registered Home Manager, overseeing all regulatory and compliance obligations, submitting necessary notifications, and promoting Duty of Candour. Ensure service delivery meets fundamental standards of safety, care, effectiveness, responsiveness, and leadership.
