Programme Manager - Enterprise Data

Join our team as a Programme Manager and lead the delivery of the Enterprise Data Programme, a key enabler of our organisation's strategy. This is a hybrid role that offers flexible working between home and our campus.

About the Role

We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead the delivery of the Enterprise Data Programme, which aims to implement a new Enterprise Data Service providing a centralised data capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the business case, co-creating the case for change with stakeholders, and securing investment in the delivery programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the Enterprise Data Programme, providing regular updates to the programme board and other governance committees.
  • Engage in strategic and operational relationship management with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the delivery of multiple projects concurrently within the programme, including data literacy, data management and governance, data access, and target operation model.
  • Coordinate the development and roll out of a University-wide data strategy.
  • Work across academic faculties and professional service divisions, overseeing delivery planning, implementation, communication, and change management.

Requirements

We are looking for a Programme Manager with recent significant experience of programme management and delivery of data programmes within a complex organisation, using proven delivery frameworks or methodologies. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of data management frameworks and analytics methodologies, excellent information technology skills, and knowledge of the interface between transactional systems, data repositories, and reporting tools.
