About the Role

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist to join our team as an Associate Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for a medical professional to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients in a low and medium secure hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and admissions of new patients to the service, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate diagnoses, develop care plans, and implement treatment strategies.
  • Lead the clinical team in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring seamless transitions to the community and effective communication with external professionals.
  • Contribute to service development through participation in Clinical Governance activities, quality initiatives, audits, research, and teaching.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration
  • Experience in working in psychiatry within multi-disciplinary teams
  • Good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists
  • At least 3 years' experience in Psychiatry
  • Experience working as a doctor within a similar environment
