About Our Client

Michael Page (UK) is delighted to support the appointment of a temporary Part Time HR Business Partner (3 days per week) for a busy and successful manufacturing business in Coventry.

This role can offer some hybrid working but there is some flexibility required to travel to other sites around the UK.

This is a temporary assignment to support with sickness cover for circa 2 months - with possible extension.

Job Description

Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner and working alongside a team of HR Business Partners, this is a busy and varied role. However, you will also offer support to other sites around the UK, and travel will be required business needs dependent.

The role will support with a wide range of operational and strategic matters including but not limited to:

  • Support the operational sites with a wide range of complex employee relations matters including sickness, absence, grievances, disciplinaries, restructures, and reorganisations.
  • Manage recruitment campaigns for salaried vacancies.
  • Conduct exit interviews for salaried leavers and co-ordinate regular reports and analysis relating to staff retention.
  • Review appropriate contractual documentation to employees in relation to appointments, terminations, and variations to terms and conditions, in line with statutory timescales.
  • Deliver strategic HR objectives.
  • Establish and build collaborative and productive relationships with all management, employees, and site trade union representatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Part Time HR Business Partner should have:

  • Experience of working in a similar generalist HRBP role, managing a high volume of ER casework.
  • Happy to travel business needs dependent.
  • Hybrid working.
  • 2 months temporary assignment with possible scope for extension.
