Lead CAMHS Community Mental Health Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our CAMHS community mental health team at The Children's Centre, Worthing Hospital, West Sussex. The successful candidate will provide medical leadership for a highly specialist multi-disciplinary team, providing care in the community for children and young people with moderate to severe mental health problems and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership for the CAMHS community mental health team
  • Develop and implement effective care plans for children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Contribute to the development of the service, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
Person Specification
  • Basic Medical Training
  • Full GMC/UK Registration
  • MRC Psych or equivalent
  • Entry on Specialist Register for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, or equivalent (or close to achieving this)
