About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist to join our CAMHS community mental health team at The Children's Centre, Worthing Hospital, West Sussex. As a key member of our team, you will provide medical leadership and contribute to the development of our service, which attracts a responsibility payment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership for a highly specialist multi-disciplinary team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the mental health outcomes for children and young people with moderate to severe mental health problems and neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Contribute to the development of our CAMHS service, including redesigning and developing the service to meet the needs of our patients.
