About the Role

RWS Group is seeking a skilled Patent Translator to join our team of freelance translators. As a Patent Translator, you will be responsible for translating patent-related content from Japanese to English with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate patent-related content from Japanese to English with a focus on mechanical and chemistry fields
  • Work on ongoing patent translation projects for leading technology brands
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure high-quality translations and meet project deadlines
  • Utilize CAT tools (Trados Studio) to streamline translation processes

Requirements

  • Native-level proficiency in English and Japanese
  • University degree in an engineering discipline and/or a degree in translation
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in patent translations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
