Associate Lead Nurse Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Lead Nurse to join our Mental Health team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist assessments and nursing interventions to patients within a care group.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the review of clinical policies and guidelines relevant to the area and support and implement changes to practice.
- Liaise with other organisations and professionals to promote communication and good practice.
- Undertake audit activity and supervision to other staff in the service area/care group.
- Have an understanding of psychosocial interventions, including psycho-education, wellness recovery action plans, Delivering Well, and discharge planning.
- Hold a Non-Medical Prescriber qualification or be committed to undertaking Non-Medical Prescribing training.

RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong understanding of mental health issues and be able to provide specialist assessments and nursing interventions to patients within a care group.
