Cost Consultant/Estimator - Pertemps TM
An exciting opportunity has emerged to join a prominent construction firm for a variety of stimulating new projects on a permanent basis. In the role of Cost Consultant, you will oversee the financial elements of a project while also being adept in Estimating. Project types encompass new constructions and refurbishments across sectors such as Education, Commercial, Retail, Leisure, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiating new project start-up processes
  • Procurement of materials and external services
  • Preparation of work package content sheets as part of the project team
  • Creating subcontract invitations to tender and assessing tender submissions
  • Enhancing cash flow through timely valuations, invoice submissions, and payment collections
  • Assisting in the swift preparation and resolution of final accounts, including variations, claims, and disputes
  • Contributing to the generation of precise and timely Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports and forecasts
  • Reviewing and verifying all tender inquiries for completeness and accuracy
  • Managing correspondence and tender documentation throughout the supply chain
  • Assessing all project costs and providing a comprehensive price submission
  • Monitoring various stages of all successful bids to ensure costs align with forecasts
Requirements:
  • Prior project experience in a comparable role
  • Design and Build experience
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driving license
