SEN Teaching Assistant Job Description

**Role Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Outstanding all-through SEN school in the London Borough of Merton. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and well-being of students with Autism/ASC, complex needs, and Severe to Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD).

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide personal care and support to students with complex needs
* Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

**Requirements**

* Experience working with young people, preferably in a SEN setting
* Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
* Compassionate and empathetic approach
* Willingness to learn and develop skills in personal care and SEN support
