With a strong background in commercial and technology law, you will have a deep understanding of the complexities of international transactions and be able to navigate complex legal issues with ease. Your excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders will be essential in this role.

You will be responsible for providing legal support to our Solutions business, including drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on intellectual property and data protection matters, and managing disputes and construction/property issues.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will have a strong business acumen and be able to provide commercial advice to our business leaders. Your ability to work collaboratively with our Compliance and Regulatory and IP teams will be essential in ensuring that our business operates within the bounds of the law.

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual who is passionate about commercial and technology law. If you have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of providing high-quality legal advice, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic legal advice to our business leaders and stakeholders
  • Draft and negotiate commercial and technology contracts
  • Advise on intellectual property and data protection matters
  • Manage disputes and construction/property issues
  • Collaborate with our Compliance and Regulatory and IP teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years post-qualification as a commercial or technology lawyer
  • Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor/Barrister specialising in commercial and technology contracts
  • Expertise: Experience advising on commercial and technology law internationally, with a desire to expand this expertise
  • Leadership: Proven experience working with senior management, including executive and board levels, in complex environments
  • Skills: Exceptional domestic and cross-border transactional experience, outstanding business judgement and client counselling skills, strong academic background
