About the Role
This position involves delivering technical expertise to drive positive results on individual claims and for the claims teams overall.
You will support the team to achieve improved technical performance and indemnity/quality targets while delivering the defined customer service proposition.
You will spend the majority of your time guiding the team, resolving queries, and developing the team's professional and technical capabilities where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a supporting mechanism to the Technical Experts as a source of technical referral for claims handlers in the Property claims team.
- Coaching the team with multi-faceted and higher value claims, with a view to increasing license levels in the team to 10K.
- Maintaining a small caseload of £10k claims that aren't Adjuster led where appropriate and required.
About You
You will be guiding and coaching the team to increase professional & technical capability, so you will have good experience of resolving or facilitating resolution of multi-faceted claims queries and problems that the team have escalated, working closely with the wider team to ensure effective technical performance.
Experience of ensuring the correct technical outcomes on supplier supported claims, particularly managed repairs or buildings loss validations.
