An exceptional chance has arisen for a seasoned VAT professional to take on a senior leadership role in a leading Top-20 Accountancy Firm. This is an outstanding opportunity to drive business growth, lead a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional client service.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Contributing to strategic planning to drive revenue and profit growth.
- Recruiting, developing, and managing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional client service and meet billing targets.
- Holding client relationships up to £600k of revenue to ensure the best possible value, advice, and quality and compliance.
- Ensuring client work complies with all legal and ethical standards and statutory regulations.
- Providing leadership and direction to the team to motivate and inspire people to higher performance.
- Setting performance measures, reviewing performance, and taking effective action to improve when off track.
- Developing workforce planning and workload management processes to ensure the correct staffing levels to process workload.
- Developing people, processes, systems, and practices to raise productivity and output quality.
- Being a strong role model for the organisation's values and standards to develop a high-performance culture.
