We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Adult Psychiatrist to join our team at Medacs. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our psychiatric services.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to junior doctors and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care pathways and treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring that they are evidence-based and aligned with best practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation of clinical services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers, providing empathetic and person-centered care.
- MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent qualification.
- Hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) at the time of application.
- Inclusion on the General Medical Council's (GMC) Specialist Register.
- At least 6 months of recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
