Construction Manager

A reputable MEP contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager to lead their team on a commercial project in Cornwall.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the construction of the Mechanical elements of the works meets Authority requirements and Contractors proposals.
- Completion and monitoring of procedural documentation.
- Formulating, developing, and checking construction programmes and monitoring progress.
- Developing and integrating short-term programmes to drive the project and meet or exceed the main programme.
- Coordination of contractors' operations at preconstruction and construction stages.
- Supporting and engaging with the commercial and design teams.
- Keeping the Project Manager informed at all times.
- Ensuring health & safety risks are eliminated or reduced in construction.
- Setting up, implementing, and reviewing quality and environmental systems.
- Reviewing design for buildability and long-term durability.
- Supporting the project's CSR BREEAM/DREAM process and submission.
- Leading the construction team, including mentoring and driving good behaviours for project success.
- Supporting Business Continuity Planning.
- Experience in delivering large-scale D&B projects as the construction manager.
- Delivering high-quality projects.
- Knowledge of building and MEP construction techniques and methodology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
- Up-to-date on Safety legislation and implementation.
- Full UK driving licence for regular travel.
- CSCS card and SMSTS qualification.
- Technical construction knowledge and commercial appreciation.
- Ability to manage, mentor, and lead the team and individual members.
