Job Summary

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Supervisor to join our offshore completion team. As a Commissioning Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely completion of wind turbine installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the commissioning process to ensure compliance with Vestas safety and quality standards.
  • Work closely with the installation team, QA/QC team, and sub-contractors to ensure successful commissioning tasks.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by acting in compliance with Vestas HSE requirements.
  • On-site supervision of new or less experienced supervisors and technicians.
  • Execute WTG completion and start up.
  • Troubleshoot, operate, and maintain WTGs.
  • Identify, register, and manage deviations.
  • Maintain turbines and equipment.

Requirements

  • Technical education (electrical/mechanical) combined with WTG experience.
  • Technical background (electrical or mechanical) combined with WTG experience.
  • Experience working with electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic diagrams.
  • Quality (QA/QC) knowledge.
  • Fluent in English.

Competencies

  • Experience working with electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic diagrams.
  • Focused on Health & Safety Environment (HSE), Quality (QA/QC), and customer relations.
  • Good process understanding and delegation skills.
  • Good English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
