Position: Junior Financial Accounting Associate

Candidate Profile:

The successful applicant will have a basic grasp of accounting principles, ideally supported by an academic background in accounting or an AAT level 3 qualification. The candidate should also:
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail (essential)
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and understand
  • Take responsibility for managing their workload effectively to meet deadlines, occasionally adjusting to ensure tasks are completed
  • Show initiative in identifying and proposing areas for improvement
  • Be capable of working both independently and as part of a team
  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with SAP or a sophisticated accounting system is a plus, though not required
Primary Responsibilities:

The Junior Financial Accounting Associate will:
  • Assist in generating financial reports for key stakeholders
  • Support the reconciliation of accounts, including trade receivables
  • Help in the preparation of various invoices
  • Contribute to the compilation of VAT returns
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and related tax calculations
  • Engage in Company Secretarial duties
