Learning Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a superb school in High Wycombe. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment for all children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aid teachers and colleagues in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment
  • Provide 1:1 support to children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), to help them reach their full potential
  • Assist in organizing and implementing educational activities, both inside and outside the classroom
  • Support children's learning by motivating, encouraging, and promoting their educational progress
Requirements:
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 4pm
  • Prior experience working with children, preferably in a SEND capacity
  • Comfortable providing support for SEN children on a 1:1 level
  • Ability to obtain a Child-only DBS
  • Local to High Wycombe or within a commutable distance
