Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Supply Desk. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students in a variety of educational settings.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide support to students with varying needs, including those with special educational needs, English as an additional language, and students who require additional academic support.

You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver inclusive lessons, make the most of school resources, and provide opportunities for challenge and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with individual needs and abilities through the delivery of inclusive lessons
  • Make the most of school facilities and resources to enhance student learning
  • Provide support and opportunities for challenge to students in your care
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to deliver high-quality educational experiences
Requirements:
  • Passion for supporting young people's learning and development
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain a new one
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other support staff
