Infrastructure Manager Job Description

Job Title: Infrastructure Manager

Location: Merseyside

Type: Permanent

Salary: £54,000 - £61,000

Working Conditions: Flexible working hours/ hybrid working (2 days per week in the office)

Sellick Partnership is supporting a Public Sector organisation to recruit for an Infrastructure Manager on a permanent basis. The organisation is embarking on an ambitious customer-centric, data-driven, digital transformation journey.

The Infrastructure Manager will provide direction and leadership to the infrastructure operations teams, ensuring effective collaboration with other functions across the department in specifying, selecting, implementing, configuring, integrating, and replacing current and new core IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies to support business objectives.
  • Lead the infrastructure operations teams to deliver high-quality IT services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT infrastructure with business processes.
  • Manage IT infrastructure budgets and resources to ensure optimal utilization.
  • Develop and maintain IT infrastructure documentation and standards.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management, including cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of leading infrastructure operations teams to deliver high-quality IT services.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL and IT service management principles.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
