About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Governance Lead to join our team at Swift, a leading provider of secure financial messaging services. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our AI governance strategy and ensuring the responsible development and deployment of AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement AI governance frameworks and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement AI-enabled solutions that meet business needs while ensuring responsible AI practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate AI-related risks, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging AI trends, technologies, and regulatory developments, providing strategic guidance to the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including industry associations, regulatory bodies, and academia, to advance our AI governance capabilities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in AI governance, risk management, and policy development, with a strong understanding of AI ethics and regulatory landscapes.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and departments.
  • Excellent communication and partnership working skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, training sessions, and strategic discussions.
  • Deep knowledge of global AI regulatory landscapes and standards, with experience in ISO 42001 certification processes a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as AI, Data Science, Law, Cybersecurity, or Policy.
  • Experience working within a global financial institution or similar environment.
  • Certifications in AI governance or risk management.
  • Demonstrated success in integrating responsible AI practices into product development and company strategy.
