Position Overview:
Join our innovative team at Whistl as a Sales Support Specialist, playing a crucial role in our expansion efforts.

In this essential position, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing potential leads for our E-commerce Sales Division, facilitating the conversion of new business opportunities on our platform.

Your contributions will be vital to our success as you assist the sales team with quote generation and key administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will become proficient in utilizing marketing tools, such as LinkedIn and Zoom Info, to locate relevant contacts from assigned company leads and, in some cases, advance these leads to secure sales appointments for the E-Commerce sales team.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Identifying pertinent contacts using LinkedIn and other data resources based on pre-defined company lists.
  • Following up on marketing-driven outreach (e.g., email campaigns) to arrange appointments for the Sales Team.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Commercial to develop project plans for lead qualification based on prospect feedback and market dynamics.
Sales Team Assistance:
Provide client quotations as requested by the sales team.
Manage ad-hoc tasks assigned by the sales team to facilitate new business conversion.
Document prospect feedback in our CRM system to enhance the sales cycle.

Qualifications:
Self-motivated and capable of working independently towards team objectives with minimal supervision after agreeing on goals.
Strong data entry skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident phone manner and the ability to engage with individuals at various levels.
Persuasive and determined in pursuing sales leads, able to quickly and accurately gather key information from prospective customers.
IT literate, with intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Flexibility to work additional hours on short notice.

A full driving license is required as travel to client meetings may be necessary.

Familiarity with CRM systems and knowledge of HubSpot is advantageous.
Experience in a sales or business service environment is preferred.
A proven track record in telephone lead generation and/or sales is a plus.
