Join Our Team as a Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our adult psychiatry service at Cygnet Hospital Woking. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients on our 11-bed female mental health acute service.

About the Role
  • Lead the implementation of risk assessment, risk management, and clinical governance
  • Supervise reports for Mental Health Act tribunals and managers' hearings
  • Participate in the telephone 1:7 Second on-call rota

Requirements
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in adult psychiatry and mental health diagnosis
  • Knowledgeable of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, along with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Capacity
  • A first-rate communicator who can interview, assess, and treat patients and write clear, comprehensive medical notes
  • Committed to continued professional development

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
