Job Title: Medical Doctor - Psychiatry

Cygnet Hospital Woking is seeking a skilled Medical Doctor to join our Psychiatry Team as an On Call Doctor. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality medical care to our patients, working closely with our Consultant Psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical cover to our Psychiatry Teams, responding to admissions and clinical emergencies with immediate effect.
  • Assess, examine, and initiate management of patients, maintaining high professional standards.
  • Keep accurate clinical records and report to the responsible clinician and Medical Director.
  • Prescribe and review medication under the supervision of the relevant Consultant Psychiatrist.
  • Maintain good communication with the multi-disciplinary team and nursing staff.

Requirements:
  • Fully GMC registered & MBBS (or equivalent) qualified
