Who we are seeking

We are in search of a Financial Insights Analyst who will assist in the creation and upkeep of our budgeting and forecasting systems, while also generating insightful reports.

This role involves supporting the Senior Financial Analyst as part of the Business Planning, Analysis, and Decision Support team, which plays a pivotal role in navigating new market opportunities and various business initiatives.

You will be intricately involved in the enhancement and management of our innovative forecasting and reporting systems, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the Finance division and the broader organization.

This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to expand and refine their expertise within a dynamic and nurturing team environment.

This role qualifies for participation in the Company's hybrid work-from-home arrangement.

Preferred qualifications and experience

  • Part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA.
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or relevant professional experience.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, modeling, and interpreting extensive datasets.
  • Advanced skills in Excel functions and financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of Power BI.
  • Experience with Vena or similar software solutions such as Workday is advantageous.

Main Duties

  • Developing and maintaining financial models and reporting within the new system.
  • Collaborating with cross-departmental teams to comprehend business needs and deliver financial insights.
  • Conducting various analyses and pinpointing areas for process enhancement.
  • Creating and presenting reports to convey financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the formulation of budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
  • Supporting the deployment of financial systems and tools to optimize processes.
  • Engaging in strategic projects by providing financial expertise and analysis.
  • Responding to analytical requests from different departments to aid in decision-making.
