About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Financial Analyst who will be instrumental in the continuous enhancement and upkeep of our budgeting and forecasting systems, while also generating insightful reports.

You will be a vital member of the Business Planning, Analysis, and Decision Support team, driving initiatives in emerging markets and various sectors of the organization.

This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about process optimization, model development, and reporting within financial systems. You will be deeply involved in the maintenance and advancement of the forecasting and reporting tools, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the Finance division and the broader organization.

This role offers the chance to engage in exciting projects and plays a crucial part in facilitating decision-making through comprehensive reporting and modeling.

This position is eligible for the Company's hybrid work-from-home arrangement.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified ACCA or CIMA professional.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, modeling, and interpreting extensive datasets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel functions and financial modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of Power BI.
  • Experience with Vena or similar software solutions such as Workday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and sustaining financial models and reporting within the new tool, while establishing new business processes for the rollout of a corporate forecasting and reporting function.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to comprehend business requirements and deliver financial insights.
  • Conducting various analyses and pinpointing areas for process enhancement.
  • Creating and presenting reports to communicate financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Supporting the implementation of financial systems and tools to optimize processes.
  • Participating in strategic projects by providing financial expertise and analysis.
  • Responding to additional analysis requests from various departments to aid in decision-making.
