Additional Information

Candidates must be Registered Nurses or Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) with Band 5 experience in General Surgery and Upper GI. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and teamwork abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations. A flexible approach to work is essential. The successful applicant will oversee the provision and leadership of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring optimal utilization of resources.

This position includes an out-of-hours commitment, including on-call responsibilities.

Work Schedule: This role requires a commitment to work various shifts, including days, weekends, bank holidays, and on-call duties as necessary.
