Job Title: Accident and Emergency Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Accident and Emergency Nurse to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 24-bedded emergency surgical assessment unit.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage patients with emergency surgical conditions, including colorectal, urology, and gynaecology cases.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Current and valid NMC registration.
  • Previous experience in emergency surgical assessment units is preferable but not essential.
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays as necessary to meet the needs of the service.
