Job Title: Senior Network Operations Engineer

Lorien is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Operations Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh. As a key member of the technology team, you will be responsible for monitoring and administering the company's core network, ensuring that faults and issues are handled efficiently.

The role involves working in a hybrid model, with 3 days spent in the office and 2 days working from home. You will have access to the latest technology and will be part of an evolving and expanding organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete configuration and software updates in accordance with scheduled BAU network activities.
  • Contribute to proactive network maintenance and upkeep.
  • Perform 2nd and 3rd Line technical support, providing customer assistance and collaborating with other teams.
  • Daily network and performance tracking.
  • Implement and maintain technologies for network analysis, reporting, and monitoring.
  • Utilise change control procedures to apply configuration modifications and software updates.
  • Produce and retain data integrity and network documentation.
  • Manage significant incidents that impact customers within the infrastructure and network.
  • Assure dependable and stable network services.
Requirements:
  • Previous technical knowledge of Juniper and Adtran within a Telecoms environment.
  • Experience within an ISP or Telecoms environment.
  • Bonus points for experience with Cisco or CCNA certification.
Package:

The position offers a competitive salary of circa £55,000 per annum, with an up to 10% bonus included, and more benefits to discuss.
