Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients, working under the direction of a registered nurse and focusing on promoting good health and independence.
- Be actively involved in the provision of health education and self-management advice to patients, relatives, and carers.
- Support individuals with all aspects of care, including daily living, providing person-centered care, and promoting health and independence through awareness raising and care navigation to other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
- Work with a supervisor to develop your clinical competence, leadership, and reflective practice skills within the workplace.
- Perform and record clinical observations, such as blood pressure, temperature, respirations, and pulse.
- Discuss and share information with registered nurses on patients' health conditions, activities, and responses.
- Develop an understanding of caring and supporting people with dementia, mental health conditions, and learning disabilities.
- Carry out NHS Health Checks and clinical observations, including blood pressure, temperature, respirations, pulse, and cholesterol testing.
- Carry out urinalysis of urine samples for in-house testing in accordance with practice protocols.

Person Specification- The applicant must be a Registered Nurse Associate on the NMC register and hold a Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification.
- Desirable but not essential: trained in phlebotomy.
