Role Responsibilities:
As an Independent Advocate, your primary focus will be to offer essential assistance to vulnerable adults navigating complex health and social care challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing compelling verbal and written representations on behalf of clients.
- Collaborating effectively with public and voluntary organizations.
- Taking proactive measures to resolve client concerns.
This position requires adaptability, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
Work Schedule: Full Time: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM.
Location: Remote work with travel required in the local area. Applicants must possess a full driver's license and have access to their own transportation.
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract for 1 year.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient communication and time management skills for effective remote work.
- Strong IT capabilities, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, along with the ability to learn new software tools.
- Meticulous attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in advocacy, information provision, or a related role within health, social care, or the voluntary sector.
- Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable populations.
- Understanding of public and voluntary organizations.

- Competitive salary of £23,292.00 per annum (dependent on experience) plus benefits.
