A leading manufacturing facility in the UK is seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical disciplines, with experience in planned preventative maintenance systems and fault finding with industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Health and Safety best practices are carried out in all work activities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Group Engineering standards for the business and ensure compliance at all times
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site
  • React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue
  • Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements to the management team
  • Liaise with external suppliers and contractors

Requirements:

  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
  • Experience of working within the Food and Drink sector
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems
  • Experience of fault finding with industrial machinery
  • Experience of interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Served a full engineering apprenticeship and/or qualification of NVQ level 3 or equivalent
