Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant - Cleaning and Laundry Support
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at The Disabilities Trust. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest possible standard of cleanliness throughout our Service, including laundry duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning all areas of the Service as per daily cleaning schedules, manage laundry, following guidance from the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- To carry out all duties with due regard for the Health and Safety of service users, staff, volunteers and visitors.
- Responsible to ensure safe storage and use of chemicals and equipment with COSHH and Health and Safety requirements.
- To work with a number of different equipment. To report the need for repair or maintenance of equipment and for materials to be replenished.
- To record all information required.
- To work to national and local cleaning standards.
- Facilitating the safe and smooth running of the Service, the post holder is expected to maintain a safe working environment, maintain service user confidentiality, and occasionally taking on reasonable additional tasks.
