Capgemini Engineering is looking to recruit a Lead Proposal Manager to join our Bid & Delivery Management Team, which operates under the Global Program Office (GPO) framework.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing proposals across diverse sectors addressed by Capgemini Engineering, including software development, mechanical engineering, electrical systems, automotive solutions, telecommunications, and data analytics.
Accountable for strategizing proposal approaches, managing a virtual team dedicated to the proposal, coordinating responses, and structuring proposals to meet client specifications.
Leading the identification of potential risks and orchestrating a risk management strategy within the virtual proposal team.
Guiding the proposal through the appropriate governance processes based on the proposal's value and risk, and spearheading the presentation of the proposal to review panels, utilizing team members to present specialized knowledge as needed.
Ensuring a comprehensive audit trail of proposal decisions is maintained in accordance with the proposal authorization process, utilizing relevant tools and systems.
Collaborating with the legal department to review contract documents and coordinating operational and delivery assessments of pertinent clauses and schedules.
Additional Responsibilities
Providing insights on the proposal authorization process to sales and engineering teams.
Assisting the Commercial Manager and the broader Bid & Delivery Management team with various aspects of commercial, contract, and risk management.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field (minimum of 3 years).
Experience: 8-10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in Proposal Management or project management, demonstrating a successful track record of delivery.
