About the Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Surveyor to join our Commercial Property team at Cluttons LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality valuation services to our clients, including financial viability assessments and public sector asset valuations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct financial viability assessments for clients, including public authorities and developers.
  • Provide public sector asset valuations for accounts purposes, working with local authorities and other public bodies.
  • Develop and maintain existing and new client relationships, providing valuation services for secured lending in respect of development sites and mixed-use properties.
  • Assist in actively managing and growing the client base to deliver financial goals.
  • Participate in business development and raise the external profile of the Valuations team by attending networking events and participating in client entertainment and presentation activities.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in valuation of a wide range of commercial properties in various property sectors, including mixed-use properties.
  • High-quality presentation skills, with the ability to present information accurately and succinctly both orally and in reports.
  • Ability to apply current market insight and knowledge to valuation modelling, including a 'stand back and look' approach based on high-quality analysis of supportable market data.
  • Highest standard of quality control and self-review ability is essential prior to peer review.
  • Driving licence.
  • Good working knowledge of principal valuation software packages, including Argus Enterprise, Argus Developer, and KEL Sigma & Developer.
  • Fully conversant with up-to-date RICS Valuation - Professional Standards and financial reporting standards for UK GAAP and IFRS for valuations.
