Priory Hospital Altrincham is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. We provide specialized treatment for adults and CAMHS within our inpatient setting, focusing on holistic care and positive outcomes.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining the occupational therapy service across our adult and CAMHS ED inpatient services. You will work closely with patients, families, and colleagues to deliver high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert consultation and assistance to the lead consultant regarding the therapeutic program on the unit.
  • Engage patients in meaningful and therapeutic activities that promote recovery and well-being.
  • Develop and manage individual treatment plans for occupational therapy and activities, ensuring they are tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive 1:1 OT assessments and provide evidence-based treatment interventions.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring clinical practice aligns with Priory policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and possess exceptional organizational abilities.
